Bookworm, announces a teachers puppetry workshop – Hands On Minds On – on Friday, September 19 ( 2.30 – 5.30 pm) and Saturday, September 20 ( 9.30 – 5.30 pm), 2008 at Clube Tennis de Gaspar Dias, Miramar. The workshop is designed for teachers in preschool and primary settings to encourage language learning in the classroom.
Topics include puppetry techniques, crafting of puppets, script writing linked to lesson plans, voice modulation and demonstrations. Puppets and other craft material will be provided. Contact Bookworm 9822169494 or 9850323239 for registration and further details. Fee Rs. 750

Hi Bookworms, The Bookworm Library in Panaji, completes 3 years tomorrow the 10th of Sept and we are delighted! This means that in three years of Bookworm Library close to 600 children between the ages of 1-15 have walked into the world of books and many of them have been introduced to Children’s Literature in some way or the other. We are happy to continue to exist despite many difficulties and we invite you to please join us in celebration.
